New DeMartini and Bonamassa!

Yeah, mang! New tunes!

So what will win the day in your tone-brain: the unabashedly ’70s-flavored “Black Country” (or whatever the band will be called – and btw, the album is done, to be released in June I believe), or the unabashedly ’80s Ratt of their upcoming CD Infestation (release date April 20).

Hmm. While I have, maybe unfairly, much higher hopes for Black Country, the track of the four I listened to repeatedly was…Ratt’s “Best of Me.” Yep! A quintessential ’80s rock tune.

Which is your fave? Listen/watch below. Enjoy!

Ratt

Best of Me
> Poppier tune, good tone!

Eat Me Up Alive
> Harder/faster tune, wonderfully ’80s.
> Sort of an evil version of the “You’re in Love” riff.
> Is Blotzer a better drummer now?

‘Black Country’

Mistreated (live)

One Last Soul (live)
