Bob Kulick’s Solo on KISS’s All American Man
One of my favorite solos on a KISS tune is on one of the studio cuts from KISS Alive II: All American Man. It’s one of my (many) favorite KISS tunes, and guitar sounds too. I should also mention that I’m a huge Ace Frehley fan: He is THE reason I and many other guit-slingers picked up six strings in the first place.
So what a shock it was to learn that producer Bob Kulick, brother of former KISS member Bruce Kulick, actually played the solo on All American Man. He did a good job standing in for Ace. Not only is it a good solo, it sounds like Ace!
